Amazing Oven Roasted Tomato Sauce

Roasted tomato sauce is a staple for me. Life is better when there is some of this pasta sauce in the freezer! Somewhere, many years ago, what started from a recipe, evolved into this delightful pasta sauce as it is today. Something I just make. But in an effort to create recipes for my girls to use and have themselves one day, I have gladly made the effort to photograph and write down my methods into a simple recipe.

Quick Lemonade For One

Easy, peasy lemonade! Make a quick, refreshing glass of lemonade without the need of a simple syrup. My youngest loves lemonade. Especially on a hot day. But I rarely have simple syrup on hand. So rather than create a grainy glass of lemonade or a whole jug, and a sore hand from squeezing lemons. I have found an easy way to just whip up a single serving in glass.

Delicious and Simple Blackberry Ice Cream

Honestly it might be surprising it’s taken me this long to come up with a blackberry ice cream recipe. My love of all things blackberry is no secret. And since getting reacquainted with my ice cream maker this summer – I have entered the ice cream (sorbet, sherbet) making stage of pandemic, because I think we all know I was never going to buy an RV!

Delicious Ginger Spiced Blueberry Pie

Blueberry pie is nothing new and a rather easy fruit pie at that. No peeling or dicing of fruit. Just a quick rinse and sort through of the berries. But I like to kick it up a notch and amplify the flavours by adding freshly grated ginger! It’s my ‘secret’ or unexpected ingredient I insist on adding to blueberry pie that is not in most recipes and makes all the difference!
